We explore the natural, created, and global subsystems that shape our world. Using systems thinking, mind-mapping, and the poetic logics of R.D. Laing’s “knots,” we examine complexity in context. The ultimate outcome: the design of four new, interlinked ecological markets — for soil, water, oxygen, and energy — each governed by its own logic and delivery system.
We rethink value itself. Sustainable actions create credits with short lifespans, which can be traded or converted into conventional money. But money cannot buy credits. This one-way flow ensures regeneration remains at the heart of the economy. We align profit with planetary survival.
Still in development, this discipline explores how we organize ourselves to act. Rooted in trauma theory, post-colonial critique, and local justice traditions, it highlights how communities can self-organize, resolve conflict, and reclaim agency from inherited systems of harm. We center local ownership and adaptive collaboration.
